The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have continued to re-sign their own as the team has now inked Major Wright, Jason Williams and Larry English to new deals.
After spending the first four years of his career in Chicago, playing under Lovie Smith in three of them, Wright signed with the Bucs last offseason. However, he was cut at the end of the preseason but was re-signed just four days later.
Wright would go on to play in 12 games, making 51 tackles. He will likely serve as a backup with Dashon Goldson and Bradley McDougald currently penned in as the team’s starters at safety. Wright has nine career interceptions in 66 games.

Williams was waived by the Carolina Panthers in December and the Bucs swooped in and picked him up off waivers.
In three games with Tampa Bay, Williams registered seven tackles, playing primarily on special teams, where he will likely play in 2015.
In 58 career games, Williams has totalled 64 tackles and forced three fumbles over seven years with Tampa Bay, Carolina and Dallas. He was a third round draft pick by the Cowboys in 2009.
English was signed by the Bucs last offseason but was cut just before the regular season. However, he was re-signed on Sept. 9 and went on to play in 12 games, registering 12 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.
English will join the Bucs’ defensive line rotation that includes Michael Johnson, Jacquies Smith, William Gholston and T.J. Fatinikun.
After being drafted 16th overall in 2009 by San Diego, English has played in 64 games making 103 tackles and 12 sacks.
Earlier Saturday, the Bucs resigned Luke Stocker.
