The Orlando Magic has their first winning streak of the season.
AfterTobias Harris’ buzzer beater clinched the Magic’s first win of the season Wednesday, the Magic got their second straight win Friday with a 112-103 overtime victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
RookieAaron Gordonscored six of his career high 17 points in overtime as the Magic (2-4) outscored the T’Wolves (2-3) 18-9 in the extra frame.
Evan Fourniercontinued his scorching start to the year by adding 20 points while Harris added 17 points and 16 boards.Elfrid Paytonchipped in with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Orlando outrebounded Minnesota 52-38 and shot better than 50 per cent from the floor but did commit 21 turnovers, although they had none in overtime.
The Timberwolves lost point guardRicky Rubioin the second quarter.Kevin Martin, who had a game high 21 points, missed a short jumper at the end of regulation.
Nikola Vucevic, who had 14 points and nine boards, hit a pair of free throws with 11.9 seconds left in regulation to send the game to OT.
Minnesota has lost seven straight games in Orlando. The Magic are on the road Sunday when they face the Nets in Brooklyn.
