Rookie Devyn Marble scored eight of his 13 points in overtime to propel the Orlando Magic past the Miami Heat 108-101 in South Beach.
The Magic (1-0) outscored the Heat (0-2) 13-6 in the extra frame after Andrew Nicholson hit a baseline jumper to tie the game at 95-95 with 0.2 seconds left in regulation.
Miami rookie Shabazz Napier had given the Heat the lead with 2.2 seconds in regulation after he hit two free throws.
Marble only played 13 minutes but hit 4-of-5 field goals, three of which were 3-pointers. He also added two assists.
Nikola Vucevic had 16 points and eight rebounds while Tobias Harris had 15 points and seven boards. Evan Fournier (13), Maurice Harkless (12) and Kyle O’Quinn (10) also scored in double digits for Orlando.

The Magic took a 52-47 lead into half time. Orlando were without the injured Victor Oladipo, Channing Frye and Willie Green.
Orlando are the road again for their next preseason game as they take on the Indiana Pacers Friday night.
