With the college football season only days away the South Florida Bulls have released their final depth chart before their season opener.

There are a dozen freshman listed on the two-deep depth chart but only two are listed as starters: fullback Kennard Swanson and mike linebacker Auggie Sanchez.

The defense is listed as 3-4. Sanchez is in fact a former offensive player, as is Chris Dunkley, who has been named a starter at cornerback. The Bulls are young in the secondary as starting safety Jamie Byrd is the only upperclassman.

On offense, as previously announced, Mike White is the starting quarterback. His two primary receivers will be Andre Davis and Deonte Welch while the starting running back will be sophomore Darius Tice.

The Bulls also recently announced their three captains for the season in seniors Davis, place kicker Marvin Kloss and linebacker Reshard Cliett.

South Florida are coming off a disastrous 2-10 season in what was Willie Taggart’s first year as Bulls head coach. Taggart has said that the team’s goal this year is to make a bowl game.

The Bulls begin their season on August 30 at home to Western Carolina.
