August 14 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp Notes

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have completed training camp.
The Bucs held their last practice today before they play Saturday night in their second preseason game of the year.
Starting next week, the Bucs will shift into a typical game-week schedule.
Here are the notes from today’s practice courtesy of the local media:
- The Bucs have signed defensive end/linebacker Larry English
- Neither Alterraun Verner nor Mike Jenkins will play on Saturday
- Bucs starters will play “a lot longer” on Saturday than they did in their first preseason game
- Charles Sims was in a walking boot as he nurses his sprained ankle
- Da’Quan Bowers and Steven Means were held out again today
- Tight end Cameron Brate got time with the first-team offense
- Oniel Cousins was at left guard today while Patrick Omameh was at right guard
- Here’s the Bucs’ second string offensive line
- Here’s their second-team defense
- Rashaan Melvin and Keith Lewis were back in pads
- Jorvorskie Lane continues to get praised by Lovie Smith
