In the wake of LeBron James‘ return home to the Cleveland Cavaliers after four years with the Miami Heat, Joseph Milord of EliteDaily.com has composed a starting five of what every team would look like if their team was made solely from local NBA players.

For the Orlando Magic, this is what Milord came up with.

It’s a roster that features two former All-Stars in Carter and Stoudemire and two up-and-coming players in Rivers and Parsons. Speights kind of fits somewhere in between but would provide good play from the center position.

Carter of course did spend time with the Magic, spending parts of two seasons with Orlando, where he averaged 16.3 PPG in 96 regular season appearances. Perhaps the highlight of his tenure with the Magic was his 48-point performance against New Orleans in 2010.

If this team took the court they would likely be pushing for a playoff spot but certainly wouldn’t be competing for championships. They’d score well but defensively it wouldn’t be too pretty.

Of course, Orlando can still claim Tracy McGrady but since he’s no longer in the league he couldn’t be included.

If anything, it shows that over the years that Orlando and the surrounding area has turned out some very good NBA players.
