Anton Stralman scored twice as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Dallas Stars 6-3 at Amalie Arena Friday night for their second preseason win.

Stralman broke a 2-2 tie in the second period at the 4:36 mark, scoring the first of three straight Lightning (2-1) goals to put the game out of reach.

Stralman had given the Lightning the a 1-0 lead in the first period with a wrist shot at 8:04 but Dallas (2-1) scored twice in less than five minutes, thanks to goals from Nicolas Blanchard and Brendan Ranford, to take a 2-1 lead.

However, Cody Kunyk tied the game at 2 with 3:25 left in the first period before Stralman put the Bolts ahead in the second.

After Stralman’s go-ahead goal, the Lightning got insurance goals from Nikita Kucherov and Matthew Corrente later in the period.

Ryan Callahan made it 6-2 7:44 into the third before newly acquired Jason Spezza got one back for the Stars.

Ben Bishop and Evgeni Nabokov split time in net — Bishop made 11 saves while giving up two goals whereas Nabokov made eight saves and allowed only Spezza’s goal.

Brian Boyle had two assists for Tampa Bay, while Callahan, Brett Connolly, Henri Ikonen and the returning Steven Stamkos and Victor Hedman all had an assist each.

Brenden Morrow and 2014 first round draft pick Anthony DeAngelo made their preseason debuts for the Bolts.

The Lightning had 27 shots but went 0-for-5 on the powerplay. However, they didn’t allow Dallas to score a power play goal on their six opportunities.

The Lightning play Dallas again on Sept. 30 on the road in their next preseason tilt.
