Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wideout Vincent Jackson has a small fracture to his right wrist according to Ross Jones of FOX Sports.

However, the good news is that Jackson is not expected to miss anytime for the 0-3 Bucs.

Jackson reportedly hurt the wrist on Tampa Bay’s opening play of their second drive during Thursday’s 56-14 lost to the Atlanta Falcons.

He finished that game with two catches for 15 yards and a touchdown.

This season Jackson has just 10 catches for 102 yards a one touchdown.

Jackson has been off to a slow start in large part due to the ineffectiveness of Josh McCown during the first two weeks of the season and into the third game before his injury.

With McCown now injured, Mike Glennon takes his place under center and last season he and Jackson had a good rapport.

Jackson is one of numerous players who have been injured for the Bucs. Along with McCown, the Bucs have lost Mason Foster, Gerald McCoy, Adrian Clayborn and Mike Jenkins to injuries this season.

Jackson is a team captain and one of the best Bucs players (highlighted by two straight 1000-yard seasons) so the Bucs will hope that Jackson’s fractured wrist doesn’t hinder his performance moving forward.
