Despite getting annihilated 56-14 in primetime by the Atlanta Falcons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did have some good performances by a few players.

Dane Fletcher

Fletcher stepped into the starting line up in place of the injured Mason Foster and performed admirably in his first start in a Tampa Bay uniform. He registered four tackles and had half a sack, shared with Akeem Spence. He also broke up a pass with a nice diving swat early in the game.

Danny Lansanah

Lansanah continues to play well for Tampa Bay and last night was perhaps his finest performance as a professional football player. Lansanah had four tackles, including one for loss, and also had a pass breakup. However, his biggest play was intercepting Falcons backup quarterback T.J. Yates and returning it 27-yards for a fourth quarter touchdown.

Mike Glennon

Glennon got his first taste of action in 2014 as he replaced an injured (also ineffective) Josh McCown in the second quarter. He had two passes dropped that should have been interceptions, but outside of that he looked steady completing 17-of-24 passes for 121 yards and threw a three-yard touchdown strike to Vincent Jackson. He also ran the football three times for 19 yards.
