The 2014-15 Orlando Magic schedule has been announced.

The Magic will tip off their season on October 28 on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Orlando will have their home opener two days later on October 30 when the Washington Wizards come to town.

Their season concludes on April 15 when they battle the Brooklyn Nets on the road.

Their final home game of the season is April 11 against the New York Knicks.

Magic training camp opens on September 30 at Amway Center with the preseason beginning shortly after. The preseason schedule has yet to be released.

The NBA has implemented a break around the All-Star meaning the Magic won’t play between February 11-20.

The Magic, who will be led by Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Nikola Vucevic, Channing Frye and others, are schedule for just two nationally televised games both of which are on NBATV. They have no games schedule with ESPN and TNT.

One interesting nugget is that 27 of Orlando’s 41 home games are on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Additionally, 16 of their first 23 games are on the road.

LeBron James and the Cavaliers come to Orlando on Boxing Day and March 15 while Kobe Bryant’s Lakers visit February 6. The Oklahoma City Thunder, headlined by reigning MVP Kevin Durant, come to the Amway Center on January 18.

Former Magic coach Stan Van Gundy will make his return on December 30 with the Pistons while Dwight Howard and the Rockets come to town on January 14.

Jameer Nelson, who was released by the team during the offseason, visits with the Mavericks on January 31.
