Adidas recently revealed that all NBA teams who have won an NBA Championship will get a gold tab on the back of the collar of their jerseys.

The tab will also contain the number of the amount of titles that team has won.

It’s a pretty cool feature. It’s similar to how soccer national teams have a star above their badge to indicate how many World Cups they have won.

However, there’s one major problem here.

In Adidas’ mock drawings of the new gold tab, they falsely credited the Magic with having won an NBA Championship. Take a look below.

Unfortunately, Magic fans can only dream. They’ve made two finals (94-95, 08-09) but came up short both times.

Perhaps Adidas can keep those jerseys in stock though for when Orlando does finally bring their first championship back to the city.
